ABOUT WILL SOLOMON
Will Solomon is a British multidisciplinary artist whose work spans painting, sculpture, wearable art, and interiors, blending fine art with raw energy, craft, and culture. His textured pieces draw from nature and the city, tree bark, brickwork, and graffiti, filtered through a personal lens shaped by music, fashion, and the streets that raised him.
From the ages of 13 to 16, Will lived on and off the streets, finding resilience and community in unexpected places. That period of instability ignited a deep connection to creativity and people. Over the years, he built strong networks across music, fashion, and sports; not just as an artist, but as a connector, consultant, and creative guide for others. These roots now inform both his artwork and his mission: using art to elevate, empower, and connect.
Will co-curated an exhibition at Christie’s Lates alongside Kanaiza the curator, and continues to support and manage other artists in their careers. His own work has appeared in collections on the worlds most prestigious superyachts, private estates, and in the homes of collectors across creative industries.
His groundbreaking Artwear collection, launched at Harvey Nichols in 2017, challenged the divide between fashion and fine art, drawing on the legacies of Basquiat, Warhol, and Haring. Since then, Will’s fashion projects have continued to evolve, his pieces have been worn by top models and celebrities, with standout appearances at both London and Paris Fashion Weeks. He was also commissioned to create a one-of-one bespoke art bag, crafted to complement the design of a rare Bugatti Mistral, exemplifying his ability to merge high fashion, fine art, and bespoke luxury.
Will’s collection, Back to Life, merges art with environmental impact through a coral reef restoration project in partnership with Coral Catch. Together, they’ve helped regenerate 75m² of reef in Indonesia. Inspired by the vibrant colours of healthy coral ecosystems, the Coral series symbolically reintroduces life and energy to damaged reefs, blending artistic storytelling with real-world ecological action.
His artworks built from richly layered surfaces, crafted with pigment, sand, rock salt, pumice, lichen, and more, with movements evoking the rhythm of instrumental music, especially the fusion of classical strings and hip-hop beats. Each piece is a sensory experience.
